This Warranty Policy applies to all goods supplied by OFF GRID POWER PRODUCTS (OGPP) and operates in addition to, and does not exclude, any rights or remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 All warranties are provided on the basis that the Customer complies at all times with the User Manual and any installation, operating, and maintenance instructions supplied with the goods.

1.2 OGPP provides a manufacturer’s warranty on batteries supplied by OGPP, warranting that they are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase (“Battery Warranty Period”).

1.3 OGPP provides a warranty on accessories supplied by OGPP, warranting that they are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (“Accessory Warranty Period”).

1.4 These warranties apply in addition to any statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Eligibility & Transferability

2.1 This warranty is provided solely to the original purchaser of the goods.

2.2 The warranty is not transferable or assignable, except where permitted under applicable law or clause 7 of OGPP’s Terms & Conditions.

2.3 Nothing in this policy limits any rights that may arise under the Australian Consumer Law.

3. Warranty Exclusions

b) A clear description of the alleged defect;

c) Any supporting information reasonably requested by OGPP.

4.2 All warranty claims must also comply with OGPP’s Returns & Refunds Policy, as updated from time to time, provided that no update reduces the Customer’s rights available at the time of purchase.

4.3 No goods are to be returned without prior approval from OGPP.

5. Inspection & Assessment

5.1 OGPP reserves the right to inspect and test any goods returned under a warranty claim to determine whether the claim is valid.

5.2 Once goods are received by OGPP, warranty assessment and testing may take up to 30 days.

5.3 No repair, replacement, refund, or credit will be issued until the goods have been received and the assessment process has been completed.

6. Warranty Remedies

6.1 If OGPP determines that a warranty claim is valid, OGPP will, at its option and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, provide one of the following remedies:

a) Repair of the defective goods;

b) Replacement of the defective goods; or

7.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law and subject to the Australian Consumer Law, OGPP’s liability under this warranty is limited to the remedies set out in this policy.

7.2 OGPP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the goods, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data.

7.3 This clause does not apply where a failure constitutes a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Australian Consumer Law
