Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to all goods supplied by OFF GRID POWER PRODUCTS (OGPP) and operates in addition to, and does not exclude, any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Shipping Coverage

1.1 OGPP ships Australia-wide only. International shipping is not available.

2. Dispatch Timeframes

2.1 Orders are typically dispatched within the following timeframes after payment is received:

a) Batteries: within 48 hours;

b) Accessories: within 48 hours;

c) Custom or made-to-order batteries: within 14 days.

2.2 Dispatch timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to stock availability, production schedules, or freight carrier requirements.

3. Freight Charges

3.1 Freight charges are calculated on a flat-rate basis, determined by the type, size, and weight of the goods. Different rates apply to small items, large items, and batteries.

3.2 Freight charges are refundable only if the order has not yet been dispatched.

3.3 Freight charges are not refundable for change-of-mind returns, warranty returns, or refused deliveries.

4. Authority to Leave (ATL)

4.1 Goods will only be delivered with Authority to Leave (ATL) where the Customer has expressly requested ATL at the time of order or in writing prior to dispatch.

4.2 Where ATL is requested, delivery is made at the Customer’s risk.

5. Risk & Title

5.1 Title to the goods passes in accordance with OGPP’s Terms and Conditions.

5.2 Risk in the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery.

5.3 Optional freight insurance may be arranged only if requested by the Customer prior to dispatch and may incur additional charges.

6. Delivery Timeframes & Delays

6.1 Delivery timeframes provided by OGPP or third-party carriers are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

6.2 OGPP is not responsible for delivery delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to courier delays, weather events, industrial action, or remote-area servicing limitations.

7. Lost or Damaged Goods

7.1 The Customer must inspect all goods immediately upon delivery.

7.2 Any damage, shortage, or incorrect delivery must be notified to OGPP within 24 hours of delivery, together with photographic evidence where applicable.

7.3 Where goods are damaged in transit, OGPP will assist the Customer in lodging a claim with the freight carrier where possible.

7.4 Unless freight insurance has been purchased, OGPP is not responsible for loss or damage occurring during transit, to the extent permitted by law.

8. PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers & Remote Areas

8.1 Batteries cannot be delivered to PO Boxes or parcel lockers.

8.2 Accessories may be delivered to PO Boxes or parcel lockers.

8.3 OGPP reserves the right to restrict delivery to certain remote or offshore locations due to freight carrier limitations or dangerous goods requirements.

9. Partial Shipments

9.1 OGPP does not ship orders in partial shipments. All items within an order will be dispatched together once the full order is ready.

10. Freight Carriers & Handling Requirements

10.1 OGPP selects the freight carrier at its discretion based on the nature of the goods, delivery location, and applicable handling requirements.

10.2 Certain goods, including lithium batteries, are subject to dangerous goods handling requirements, which may affect carrier availability and delivery timeframes.

10.3 OGPP is not liable for delays, re-routing, or delivery restrictions imposed by freight carriers in accordance with their safety or compliance obligations.

11. Australian Consumer Law

11.1 This Shipping Policy operates in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
